Doris

It should work for you, as you're severely restricting your carbohydrates (7 calories/gram), and replacing them mostly with protein (4 calories/gram).

I do not recommend this diet. Even though it may be effective, you cut out fruits and vegetables, and increase your saturated fat intake.

It may be a quick fix for weight loss, but not so much for overall health.

First of all DO NOT try to just switch to raw food! Please, you could hurt yourselves. i was a natural food coach for many years - there is such a thing as a TRANSITIONAL diet- you know from whatever you eating now - ease you body into the raw diet. if you are really want to do this then do it safely - i just checked online - i studied with a lovely woman named "ANN WIGMORE", before i answered your question i went online-she's still in business! GREAT for you guys- go a head and put her name in your search bar and go! TONS of info. if you're serious her program IS the best i have ever come across. and yes i was a raw food freak for about 5 yrs or more-i had asthma- i have it NO MORE-that was about 25 years ago- i'm still asthma free. when i started to have children my husband and i thought it would be best to ease back into a cooked veggie diet( we've been veggies for over 30 yrs & yes raised a family as veggies too. boys are over 6' and daughter is beautiful and almost 6' tall). the lady ANN WIGMORE is a wonderful person i'm very fortunate to have had her association. and would recommend her program to anyone trying to become a raw food type-be it for permanent or temporary she would be the best - Good luck hope this helps

Jessica

a complete raw food diet is not good for you.
try simple things like:

* having cereal for breakfast with low fat milk,

*sandwich for lunch eg ham with lots of salad and low fat mayo on brown bread

*grilled chicken, lots of veg but a few potatoes

*go for a walk together for at least 30 minutes per day and you will notice the weight falling off

*stick to your regime and you will succeed

Good Luck

Ben

Definately. Im not overweight but when I started it I lost something like 2-3 kilos a week.
Its easy to stick to if u dont mind eggs and eating alot of meat.
Not sure how much 1400 calories is but I was never hungry I just snacked on eggs and chicken all day :P

Alan

Yes it actually will because I am actually underweight and I went on that diet because at the time my Chiropractor suggested it for my Fibromylagia and Chronic Fatigue. I felt better on it, but couldn't eat enough calories to help me keep on my weight. I had lost over 10 pounds in a short amount of time.

Go outside to your backyard and start grazing.....What you want to do is become a vegan juicetarian that is the only way to go to not be immoral. You are only wanting to do this diet to lose weight. You need to become moral by becoming vegan.

Ana

Ok diet-wise, consume 6-8 small meals a day, not 3 medium main meals.

For excercises, on your first week do situps-crunches-reverse-crunches-bicyclese-oblique crunches in sets of 10 for 20 minutes, no rest in between (helps you lose fat). Week 2 ramp it to 12 reps for 25 minutes. Week 3/4 do 20 reps for 25 minutes, week 5/6 do 25 reps for 30 minutes.

Is it hard? H*ll yeah, but stick with it.
