Do they have Carbs?

Anyway, sounds like a good alternative. But if you’re really serious about dieting, drink just water.

Diet drinks with artificial sweetners send the wrong message to your brain about sugar intake. In other words, they are bad for your diet because they make you crave real sugars. Stick with plain water or water flavored with natural stuff and no sugar. A good option is to just squeeze some lemon or lime juice into your water. Maybe get one of those cute little plastic squeeze bottles of lemon or lime juice to carry with you.

Its good to have these once in a while i have had fuze, gatorade , poweradre …but the thing is the additives in them actually decrease the absorption of water coz of the concentrayion of sodium and potassium ions…..but water is water …no subtitue ..u can also try protein shakes but it really depends on your goal..obviously though no coke or pepsi

it’s pretty much like drinking water. however, diet soda, etc., is bad for your teeth…though, diet wise, it’s just the same as water.

Your body doesn’t require soda, diet or other, it doesn’t require added flavors, sugars, non-sugars, fruit juice, or other crap.
Your body NEEDS Water!!!

Nothing hydrates you as well as water. Different molecules in the drink (like tea, or coffee) get bound to the water molecules, so your body can’t absorb the water as efficiently.

So you would have to drink more diet drink than water to get the same level of hydration.

The more diet drinks with artificial sweeteners you drink, the more you will crave real sugar.

It’s ok to drink a diet drink once in a while, but water is much better for you.

In relation to water and these drinks, you may get a bit of caffeine in there (which is perfectly healthy and needed) and well frankly some flavor.

Honestly, with the miniscule amount of… well anything in those drinks, you have nothing to worry about. No diet should ever see those drinks in the banned list, and I personally think you would be better off with some variety in your drinks, not just water. Good luck on your diet, just remember to not sweat the big stuff, but try to sweat a little bit! (on the treadmill anyways) ^-^

They have artificial sweeteners and sodium in them where water has neither. Sodium raises blood pressure and I am allergic to artificial sweeteners. With water my blood pressure stays down and I don’t have to put up with side effects from the artificial sweeteners. Water also has zero calories.
